Wide variety of responsibilities included conducting PR outreach, launching and growing social media pages, writing/editing blogs, press releases, donor fundraising letters, annual reports; also recruited noted celebrities to multiple fundraising galas, wrote run of show scripts, more.
This international client has educated and empowered 2.5 million sub-Saharan African girls. It is dedicated to educating and empowering an additional five million over the next five years. Responsibilities included recruiting an emcee and inviting other celebrities to CAMFED’s first New York City Gala. In addition, booked television and radio interviews, conducted research, reviewed marketing materials, wrote invitation letters.
Created media work plan, proposed and executed concepts for email and web, wrote booklets for newly diagnosed women, those dealing with recurrent cancer, and help for their loved ones. In addition, developed September Ovarian Cancer Awareness campaign and worked on a luncheon event. Responsibilities included finding a NYC venue, booking a celebrity speaker, inviting media.

James Commissioning Week with focus on the Boston audience, contacted a variety of outlets to promote coverage of the annual Hull Harbor Illumination and secured articles in Patriot Ledger, New England Boating, Weymouth Patch, Arts Boston and others.
Helped entrepreneurial Texas company with its Christmas toy giveaway of bendable Stickman Stew dolls to sick, abused, neglected and homeless children. Dealt with charities, hospitals and other organizations in Texas and Connecticut, plus handled promotion to media outlets.
